Stephen welcomed students from Cardiff’s St Illtyd’s Catholic High School to parliament on Monday (April 18).

The group of 22 Year 10 students and three members of staff met up with Stephen, their local MP, who gave them a tour of the Palace of Westminster and answered a whole host of questions on the history of parliament and his role as an elected representative.

It followed a visit to the school in November by Stephen, who said: “I’m always delighted to welcome students from local schools to Westminster. It was a pleasure to meet the pupils from St Illtyd’s again – I hope their day was informative and engaging and will help them in their Welsh Baccalaureate and other studies.”

Local schools interested in visiting parliament can contact Stephen’s office for more details.
